Republican Willie Billups - Entrepreneur, Veteran and Patriot Running for U.S. Congress

A Service-Disabled Veteran, Willie Billups retired after 20-years of active duty with the Army and Marine Corps. In the Marine Corps, Willie specialized in Aviation/Aircraft Maintenance. After 12-years of active duty, he switched to the Army, where he served as a pilot on both helicopters and airplanes. In 2015, Willie retired from Fort Hood, TX as a pilot at 15th Military Intelligence Battalion, Intelligence and National Security Command (INSCOM).

An entrepreneur, Willie founded a logistics company prior to joining SkyWest Airlines as a pilot on the Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ-700) at Chicago Ohara. Today, Willie continues to operate his small trucking company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

A cancer survivor, Willie will celebrate his 20th anniversary in Feb 2018 of beating cancer. He is a father of 4, and is supported by his wife, Hoshimi. Willie is an alumnus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated in 2003, with a B.S. in Aeronautics.
